What are the Link Requirements for adding/editing Festival Pages?
Festival Pages on Viberate are equipped with social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and music streaming links (Spotify and Deezer playlists) that lead to festivals' official channels. Links to festival channels are very important. Not only that they add additional information value to a Festival Page, but they contribute to a content feed that is displayed on Festival Pages.
Here you'll find the general rules for adding/editing links, link requirements for each channel specifically as well an example for each channel. You can also observe how links should look on this Page.
GENERAL RULES:
When adding links, follow these requirements:
- All links should be active and display content.
- Submit only Festival owned channels. Don't add links from promoters.
- Last post/video should not be older than 3 years.
- Insert the shortest URL form possible. See example below:

https://www.instagram.com/metaldays.festival.official/?hl=en (incorrect)
Below are the basic guidelines for each platform:
Homepage
Can be an official domain, Wordpress, Wix or Blogspot page.
Example: http://www.metaldays.net/
Facebook
Should be an official Facebook page, not a personal profile or event/fan-made/auto-generated page or group. The content has to be recent - the last post should be max. 3 years old.
Example: https://www.facebook.com/MetalD
Twitter
Should be an official Festival page, not a fan page/owner’s/organizer’s page. The content has to be recent - the last post should be max. 3 years old.
Example: https://twitter.com/PUNKROCKHOLIDAY
Instagram
Should be an official Festival page, not a fan page/owner’s/organizer’s page. The content has to be recent - the last photo should be max. 3 years old.
Example: https://www.instagram.com/metaldays.festival.official/
YouTube
Link a YouTube channel belonging to the Festival or to the organizer. Don't add playlists or videos.
Example: https://www.youtube.com/user/MetalHolidayChannel
Spotify
Link only user profiles belonging to the Festival. Don't add playlists.
Example: https://open.spotify.com/user/tomorrowlandofficial
Deezer
Link only profiles, not playlists.
