What are the Guidelines for adding/editing a Venue Page?

At Viberate we try to map the whole live music industry under one roof. You can find over a million Pages of Artists, Festivals, Venues, and Events. Each Page is unique and what is more, Entity Pages (Artists, Festivals, etc.) are interconnected with each other. So for example, on a Venue you Page you can see which artists have performed there. 

Before you add a new Venue Page you need to make sure: 

- The Venue is not in our database yet.
- The Venue hosts live music events.
- The Venue is currently operational.
- At least half of the added content is correct.

When editing a Venue Page you need to pay attention: 

- that you change the information that is actually outdated or incorrect. Don't edit the information that doesn't need editing.

After you add or edit a Venue Page, our curators will review your entry and either approve or deny it. Your entry will get approved if at least half of the submitted information is correct. To avoid your entry from being denied, please follow both content and link requirements.  If you're new to our contribution system, we highly recommend you take a few minutes and read thru all the requirements.
