What are Content Requirements for adding/editing Venues?

Equipping a Venue Page with content information is very important. Not only that it provides the basic information, but it also contributes to the content presented on a Venue Page and the overall appearance of the Page you are adding/editing. That is why it's extremely important that you try to add as much information that you can and that this information is correct.

Name
Use the official name used in all outlets (Venue's website and social media channels). Use Latin alphabet.

Contact info
Enter the contact email and phone number (should start with + followed by an international calling code).

Location
Try searching by Venue name first. If this doesn’t yield results, search and select the address. The address, city, and country fields will get filled in automatically.

Status
By default, Venue’s status is set to “Open”. If a Venue is no longer operational (is permanently closed), change the status to “Closed”.

Venue Type
Select the best option from the drop-down menu.

Venue Size
Select the approximate number of people that can fit in the Venue. Look for the info on social media channels, use Google, or determine the size from the photos.

Highlights
We listed different highlights to choose from. If applicable, select at least 4.

Opening Hours
For each day, select the exact opening hours. Set the days on which the Venue is not open to “Closed”. If the Venue is always open, select 00:00–23.45 for all days. If the Venue has breaks during the day (10:00–14:00, 16:00–22.00), select the start and the end of the working hours (10:00–22:00). Info can usually be found on Venue’s website, social media channels (see “About” section), or directly on Google Maps/search. If nothing about opening hours can be found, leave it empty.

Media
Upload at least 4 Venue images (min. 512x512px, max. 2Mb, .jpeg or .png) and set one as a profile image. If possible, also add a video.

- Profile Image (min. 512x512px, max. 2Mb, .jpeg or .png): use the Venue’s official social media photos. Profile image should be in landscape mode. You should avoid using logos, unless there are no alternatives.
- Photos (min. 512x512px, max. 2Mb, .jpeg or .png): photos need to be different from the profile image. Use a photo of the Venue’s exterior/interior/party atmosphere/foods & drinks that best show the mood of the Venue. Don't use close-up photos of people (no person or entity should be recognizable). Third-party logos are not allowed.
- Video: link a YouTube video URL containing a presentation/promo of the Venue, or a good quality video of an event that took place in the Venue. The video can be sourced from any user’s channel, not just an official one. Select the appropriate tag from the drop-down menu.
