How do I determine a venue type?

You can choose from: 

- Club
- Bar
- Hall
- Stadium
- Public/Outdoor place, or 
- Other. 

Pick the one that best suits the venue. While some types are pretty easy to determine (e.g. bars and clubs: "The Workman's Club"), others are not. If you happen to stumble on churches, museums, galleries, casinos, castles, stores, etc. it is best to place them under "Other".
